The Diwan
The Diwan is the main administrative
department in the Directorate General of Civil
Aviation. It is directly attached to the general
director and deals with many administrative tasks
such as, filing, editing, post works, accounting,
legal studies, and personnel administration. At
another level it takes care of providing the various
departments with their needs of technical supplies,
furnitures, and office equipment. The Diwan plays
also an important role in managing the financial
relations with airlines companies and all other
companies operting at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport
and that through the revenues section which is
responsible of billing and collecting factures.
Finally it is worth to mention that the department
of Diwan consists of the following seven section:
- The Administration Section
- The Accounting Section
- The revenues Section
- The Legal studies Section
- The Leading proceeding section
- The supplies and Stores Section
- The Bulletin Section
