with the Highest International Standards
Major developments in the systems and procedures have
assisted Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport to move rapidly
into modernization and globalization.
To cope with the global developments, The Lebanese
government has identified the importance of air transport
and the role it plays in the country’s advancement,
and has instructed the Ministry of transport to develop
long term vision for Air Transport that will achieve
the required growth to make Lebanon once again the center
of the Arab world.
In a step towards privatizing Beirut Airport, structural
reorganization is also in the process of change from
a Directorate of civil Aviation into a civil Aviation
Authority as an independent autonomous regulator. Other
developments as passenger and cargo services, the new
VIP terminal as well as the development of the free

standard services at Beirut Airport.
With a successful national carrier, new airport, updated
aviation laws and regulations, liberazation and quality
services; Lebanese aviation has proved triumph through
out the toughest times, and we will remain in action
to make Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport the hub of the
Middle East Airports.
